Description

It was the Macy's Day Parade and everyone was filled with the warmth of the bright sunlight. The pleasant smell of delicious food came from large tables. Bright lights flashed in Celebrities eyes as they walked across the red carpet. Suddenly a horrible noise came from somewhere in the distance. The sound belonged to a glider.

The Parade's feeling of joy turned to terror as people realized that the Green Goblin had arrived. The devastating impact of one of his grenades knocked business men off a fifth story balcony. The taste of debris filled a man's mouth as a grenade went off next to him. A green light filled the eyes of a few other men and they could feel the muscles seize up just before they turned to bones.

No one's ears could escape the hideous laughter of the Green Goblin. In a few short moments the entire Parade was trashed. Suddenly hope arrived as Spiderman swung around the corner of a building.

Comparison

Spiderman is the lightning in a thunderstorm. Through the ominous peril of a thunderstorm lightning strikes down with great power and has an enormous effect. Almost as soon as the lightning arrives it is gone. Then, without warning, the lightning strikes down somewhere else. When the storm leaves, the lightning goes with it.

This is very similar to the way Spiderman strikes into action and saves people from the perils of in New York. The peril can be a result of many influences including crime and danger. He is swift and powerful and leaves great effects. Not long after he appears on the scene he leaves before anyone can get a good look at him. He is so quick that no has been able to get a good picture of him for the Daily Bugle. Then he arrives somewhere else with equal speed. If there is no crime or danger Spiderman cannot be found.

Cause and Effect

There are many instances in Spiderman's life when he must deal with an influence, event, outcome scenario. These instances can have good outcomes but often give him grief.

For an example of an event, Spiderman stopped the tritium that Doctor Octopus had lost control of while giving a presentation. The influences of this can trace back to when he vowed to protect people from danger. In addition to that, Spiderman already knew Doctor Octopus and had been invited to the presentation.

There are many outcomes that rose from this event. Spiderman would be hated by Doctor Octopus for stopping the tritium because he felt he was still in control. This hate caused fights between the two.
Doctor Octopus destroyed the brakes on a train and Spiderman was forced to stop it. After losing all of his energy Doctor Octopus bound him and brought him to Harry Osborn who wished to kill him. Spiderman revealed his true identity to Harry and, finally, found a way to destroy a much more powerful tritium created by Doctor Octopus.

Advocacy

Whether or not anyone wants to believe it or not everyone can respect the power of cooperation. Cooperation can overcome the strongest of difficulties. When people work together there is a cenergy effect. This means that the overall force is stronger than the two forces simply added together.

Take a bull for example. If one bull can pull a crate 2 miles and another bull can pull the crate 3 miles the two bulls working together might be able to pull the crate 10 miles.

For this reason it is important that Spiderman unites forces when he finds it necessary. When he had to face Sandman and Venom at the same time cenergy was extremely necessary. Harry Osborn had the power to create this uniting force.

Harry Osborn recently became endowed with all the abilities of his father and could help Spiderman stop Sandman and Venom. After the convincing of his butler Harry joined Spiderman and together they defeated the two villains.

Narrative

I was standing at the top of the rock preparing to jump. It was a 20 foot fall to the river. This reminded me of the first Spiderman movie when Spiderman was preparing to swing on his webbing for the first time.

Spiderman had just recently discovered his powers much like I had recently decided to jump from the ledge. His jump would be far more impressive than mine. He shot a line of web to an opposing building.

I stepped closer to the end of the ledge.

Spiderman tugged on the rope to test its strength. Trusting the rope he leaped up onto the building's ledge. Now there was nothing between him and a five story fall to the ground.

I stepped closer still the edge of the cliff. I leaned over to get a good look at the fall. It was nothing short of what I expected. I bent my knees and arched my back preparing to jump

Spiderman stood on the edge for several seconds deciding whether or not to jump. Without any practice on smaller jumps he took a leap of faith off the building and crashed directly into a billboard. This bold way of life would help him in fights with future enemies.

Taking what felt like an equal leap of faith I stepped off the cliff and plunged into the river. To my relief my jump was a success and I was alright.
